Built around your brief

Your production, from the start.

Subspace is Maelstrom’s web-based graphics and live-data system. We configure dashboards, overlays and data connections for the production, with local or cloud deployment and separate packages for additional feeds.

What we deliver

  • Subspace dashboards and graphics overlays
  • Live data, APIs and CSV datasets
  • Custom software and API integrations
  • Companion automation and multiple graphics feeds
  • Network and systems engineering

Before the brief

Common questions.

A starting point for planning the scope with your team.

How does Subspace work with our existing production tools?

Subspace provides graphics overlays and operator dashboards, with API connections and CSV datasets for live production data. Overlay links can be used in OBS, while Bitfocus Companion can trigger graphics and data actions as part of the show’s control macros. We define the integrations and output packages for each production.

What has it supported in a live production?

At Race to World First, machine-vision data fed dynamic broadcast graphics. At Crankworx, voting, featured chat, lower thirds and countdowns connected through one operating workflow across Twitch, YouTube and Streamlabs.

What should we bring to a demo discussion?

List the platforms and data sources, the manual steps you want to improve, and the output the audience should see. Include the operator roles and show schedule so the discussion stays tied to how the production runs.

Bring what you know.

A complete brief is useful, but it is not a requirement. These are the details we will work through together.

  1. The tools, data sources and platforms in your workflow
  2. The manual steps or handoffs creating friction
  3. The live output, operator roles and delivery schedule
